Macao has created a platform to promote products (handicrafts and food) from CPLP countries in China market

Macao Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) and TradeInvest Timor-Leste has signed a protocol in October 2016.
One of the missions of IPIM is promote the function of Macao SAR as an Economic and Trade Co-operation Service Platform between China and Portuguese Speaking Countries. In order to promote the advantages of Macao as a service platform for economic and trade cooperation between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries, they have created three centers as follow:
1. Service Center for SMEs in China and Portuguese Speaking Countries.
2. Center for the Distribution of Food Products of Portuguese Speaking Countries, this Center provides information and assistance to those who wish to expand their business to the markets of Portuguese-speaking countries, holding contact-book sessions and presenting products from Portuguese-speaking countries.
3. The Convention and Exhibition Center for Economic and Trade Cooperation between China and Portuguese Speaking Countries, such as Macau International trade and Investment Fair (MIF), that happens annually in October, with a different theme every year. All portuguese-speaking countries are represented by a delegation.
Additionally there is a Portal for Cooperation in Economic Area, Commercial and Human Resources between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries. The information Portal serves as an information-sharing platform to provide online and offline bilateral services through the provision of online trade and economic information as well as a variety of website functions, aiming to promote Macao’s collaboration and business opportunities with the Mainland and Portuguese-speaking Countries. The Portal is in English and Portuguese version.
